Quick Note: Crispy "Seaweed"


Not so much a recipe as a vague note of something half remembered..  however... 


Ingredients:
Cabbage
Caster Sugar
Salt
Vegetable Oil


Method:
I've only ever made the crispy seaweed once, but from my vague memory you need to chop the leafy bit of the cabbage into strips, like seaweed, get a pan of hot vegetable oil and drop the cabbage in for a few seconds until it goes crispy. Then you need to whip it out quick before it burns, and lightly sprinkle with a caster sugar / salt combo (I think it's 2:1 sugar to salt)
